Community Fund Reopened

We are delighted to announce that we have reopened our Community Fund and are seeking new applications for projects that meet our criteria and are within our target area.

We reluctantly paused the fund whilst we reorganised ourselves following Tom Parker’s resignation as chairman. We’re still working on this, but consider we can now take on board new applications.

The primary source of our Community fund is the Chiddinglye solar farm (see photograph) for which we obtained planning permission. Unfortunately we had to pass the project over to a private operator due to less favourable treatment for local renewable energy groups being introduced by the Conservative government at the time.
