In January 2015 we completed our first community-owned solar PV installation at Grange Farm, Crawley Down. The 18kW system is located on the cow shed at the farm. Grange Farm receives cut-price electricity, and the cows don’t seem to have noticed the installation.
This is a working farm so we keep a close eye on generation as the panels are more likely to get dirty.
