Community Fund Application


Please ensure you have read our Community Fund Criteria page before submitting an application.

We can assist organisations wishing to apply who need help with identifying the most suitable technology for a site and also help find suitable contractors. If you are not sure if your project qualifies or is outside the 5 mile radius it might be worth contacting us to see if we are able to help.

Should you need help we are happy to receive incomplete applications, containing as much information as possible, alongside your request for advice and assistance.

Once an application is submitted our Community Fund Administrator will conduct an initial review to determine if there is sufficient information for us to proceed. They will contact you if they need additional information.

We will confirm receipt of your application within 15 days of submission.

Applications are considered at our quarterly management committee meetings. We will let you know the scheduled date of the meeting at which your application will be considered.

We will advise you of our decision and our reasons for acceptance or refusal within 15 days of the meeting.

Please note that we may postpone a decision if we determine that we need more information, although we hope this situation doesn’t arise.

Upon approval of your application the fund administrator will send you a letter confirming the amount and conditions attached to the award. The conditions will include:

  • To provide us with evidence (e.g., copies of invoices) that the funding has been used for its intended purpose
  • To provide us with photographs, copies of any press releases, or other suitable information for publishing on our website and inclusion in our Annual Report and our AGM.

We will only ask for bank account details once an application has been approved.

Application Form

Two versions of the form are available.

  1. A Microsoft Word version that works like a form, where entry boxes automatically expand to accommodate the information you enter.
    This is the recommended method for completing our form and returning it, along with any necessary attachments.
  2. An Adobe pdf version that you can download and complete manually to then scan and return via email, along with any necessary attachments.
    Only use this method if you have problems with first option above.
