RePower Balcombe’s Directors and Committee members were out in force at an event to celebrate the latest update on the Riding Sunbeams project.

It’s all systems go, with funding secured for a proof of concept where the technical solutions will be tested to ensure they can work harmoniously within Network Rail’s power systems.

Meanwhile each of the co-operative groups, supported by Community Energy South, 10:10 Climate Action and Ricardo Systems has been surveying the surrounding countryside and engaging with various landowners to identify potential sites for the project.
