REPOWERBalcombe Coffee Morning

Thaddius of Southern Solar, kindly lent a full-sized photovoltaic panel and he and Andy were on hand to explain the technical aspects of everything solar. Group members were kept very busy answering questions (that have informed the new FAQs page of our website) and were delighted by the number of visitors keen to invest in the Phase 1 share offer due to launch later this year. There were also a number of useful suggestions for for further sites. In all, a great success.

REPOWERBalcombe staged its first drop in coffee morning in Balcombe’s Bramble Hall on May 10th 2014. Group members welcomed visitors who braved the wet and blustery weather with a tempting array of refreshments. Plenty of information was available about the co-operative, our first site at Grange Farm, and other community energy initiatives.
